An investment announcement naturally attracts attention when you are looking for work. Yet an approved agreement and an open vacancy are separated by several steps. This autumn, the projects announced over the summer call for focused monitoring rather than applications sent at random.
The starting point: July’s commission
On July 2, 2026, the National Investment Commission approved 29 projects worth nearly MAD 42 billion under its main scheme. The release anticipates around 9,800 jobs, including 2,400 direct and 7,400 indirect positions. These are project-related forecasts, not vacancies available immediately.
Find the right employer
Our advice is to start with the company and the project’s location. A major development may involve several employers: the operator, a supplier, a maintenance company or a logistics provider. The name featured in the announcement will not necessarily publish the role that suits your profile.
Once the project company is identified, check its careers page and official communications. Record the date of the latest reliable update. If no recruitment timetable has been published, do not assume hiring has begun.
Make your application specific to the work
For an industrial role, describe the operations you can perform, the equipment you have used and the safety procedures you have followed. For an administrative or commercial role, provide an example of a file you managed, a customer request you handled or coordination work you completed.
A beginner can draw on a training project or placement, clearly identifying it as such. The aim is not to make the CV longer, but to help an employer understand quickly which tasks you could take on.
Build a realistic monitoring routine
Create a short list of companies and check their vacancies regularly. Note the exact location, working hours and mobility requirements before applying. A workplace may look nearby on a map yet involve a difficult daily journey.
