Frequently asked questions
Practical answers for finding a job and recruiting on Jawb.ma.
I am a candidate
Where can I see my activity?
Your dashboard brings together applications, interviews and saved jobs. Complete your profile first, then use the menu to open each section. The Tutorial button remains available in the header.
How do I find a job that fits my profile?
Open the job listings and combine job, city and contract filters. Read the full listing for the employer, responsibilities, skills and application method. Remove a filter if there are no results.
Why is my WhatsApp application missing from my dashboard?
Use the method available on the listing: form, WhatsApp, email or external link. Review your contact details and CV before sending. An application sent outside Jawb may not appear in your dashboard.
How do I add my CV?
Open Submit a CV, enter your profession, experience and contact details, and attach your file when requested. Review the result before saving. Use your account email to find your profile again.
How can I check my application status?
My applications shows applications recorded on Jawb and their status. Open a job to review its details. Recruiters update progress; applying does not guarantee a reply or an interview.
Does saving a job mean I have applied?
Use the heart on a job listing while signed in to save it. Find it in My saved jobs and remove it when no longer needed. Saving a job does not submit an application.
Where can I find an interview invitation?
My interviews separates upcoming and past meetings. Check the date, time, format and location or meeting link. Respond using the available actions and contact the recruiter if you cannot attend.
How can I reply to a recruiter?
Open Messages and select a conversation to read and reply. Mention the relevant job for context. Never send passwords, sign-in codes or bank details in a conversation.
What are skills tests for?
Open the test shared by a recruiter or browse the available quizzes. Read the instructions, answer the questions and submit when finished. Results support your application; they are not a job offer.
How do I update my contact details?
In My profile, edit your contact details, profession, city, experience and availability, then save. Check for the confirmation message. Sign out after using a shared computer. Account type offers a one-time role change. Read the consequences before confirming this change.
Do I have to pay to look for a job?
Browsing jobs, applying and submitting a CV on Jawb are free. Do not pay anyone for an interview or a promise of employment.
How do I change the site language?
Use the language selector in the header: French, English or Arabic. Tutorials and FAQs follow your selection. Free-text information entered by users may remain in its original language.
How do I report a suspicious job or request deletion of my data?
Contact Jawb using the Contact page and include the job link or your account email. Do not send your password. See the privacy policy for information about personal data.

Where are the recruitment tools?
The dashboard summarises active jobs, applications and recruitment stages. The menu opens jobs, applications, CV library, interviews, messages, tests, boosts, companies, services and profile. Reopen the Tutorial from the header.
Why is my company name required?
Enter your actual company name in General profile, along with contact details and a description. Save your changes. A specific name is required to publish an identifiable job; “Company” alone is not enough. You can also prepare email templates and set your Facebook preference. Account type can only be changed once: read the consequences before confirming.
How do I post for several companies?
In My companies, create and complete a profile for each company you represent. Select the correct company when publishing a job. Check its name and logo before sharing the listing.
How do I publish a job with the assistant?
Choose Post a job and enter the company, profession, city, contract and application methods. The assistant can suggest a draft: review responsibilities, requirements and terms before confirming. Only publish accurate information.
How do I remove a job that is no longer available?
My jobs lets you open, edit and manage listing visibility. Use the available actions to renew or deactivate a job and check its status afterwards. Close listings once a position has been filled. Import adds listings, while duplication reuses a listing in another city. AI screening helps review applications without replacing your decision. Facebook sharing depends on active Meta permissions.
How do I track candidates by stage?
Open Applications, filter by job and review each candidate. Update their stage in the tracking board, add useful information and use the relevant contact actions. Check the recipient before sending anything.
How do I search the CV library?
Use CV library filters to search by profession or location. Review available profile information and attached CVs. Contact people only in connection with a relevant recruitment need.
How do I schedule an interview?
From an application in the Kanban board, prepare an invitation with the candidate, date, time and format. Add the location or meeting link and review before sending. Then check replies and upcoming meetings.
Where can I find conversations with candidates?
In Messages, select a conversation and reply to the relevant candidate. Mention the job and next step to avoid confusion. Email or WhatsApp conversations may remain in those external tools. The Online button in the header controls your live chat availability. Email templates created in General profile help you reply more quickly from applications.
How do I use tests during recruitment?
Open Tests to create and manage questionnaires. Write questions relevant to the role, check expected answers and share the test with the intended candidates. Assess results alongside the rest of the application.
Is posting free and do I have to buy a boost?
In Boost, select an active job and compare the displayed options, prices and durations. Payment is completed on Stripe. Promotion starts after payment confirmation; it does not guarantee applications or hires. Each paid option includes automatic publication on the Jawb Facebook Page. The status shows whether it is published or pending; a previously shared job will not be posted twice. Standard posting is free and promotion is optional.
How do I manage service listings?
In My services, use the available actions to create and manage your services. Describe the service, its terms and contact details clearly. Check the public listing after each change.
Can I import or duplicate jobs?
In My jobs, Import opens the listing import tool. A job’s actions also allow duplication in another city. Check the content, company and location before confirming each publication.
How do I use email templates and AI screening?
Create templates in General profile, then use them while managing applications. A job’s AI screening action helps review available applications; check the results before making decisions or contacting a candidate.
Why might Facebook publishing fail?
Facebook publishing requires an active Meta connection and Page permissions. Enabling the profile preference does not guarantee that the token is still valid. Contact Jawb if an error occurs; the job listing on the site is independent of Facebook.
