You have found a promising vacancy. The role matches your skills, the location works and you want to send your CV immediately. Take a few more minutes: a clear application helps the recruiter understand your experience and interest without having to guess what you are looking for.

This guide explains how to find vacancies, upload your CV, apply and track your activity on Jawb.ma. The aim is to make each application more relevant, rather than simply sending more of them.

1. Read the whole vacancy before applying

On the jobs page, combine occupation, city and contract filters. If no results appear, remove a filter or widen the area. A very narrow search may hide a suitable vacancy with a slightly different title.

Open the full description. Identify the employer, duties, work location, contract and required skills. Separate essential requirements from preferences. You may be a suitable candidate without meeting every preference, but understand travel or working-hours constraints before committing.

Ask yourself three questions: what will I actually do? Which experience prepares me for it? What still needs clarification? Your answers will help you personalise your message.

2. Prepare a CV that is easy to understand

Your headline should state your target role. “Network technician in Casablanca” is more informative than “Urgently seeking work”. Present experience from most recent to oldest, including dates, context and actual tasks. For a first job, an internship, training project or volunteering experience can demonstrate how you work.

Replace vague statements with truthful examples. “Helped install workstations during my internship” says more than “Passionate about technology”. Do not invent figures or responsibilities. If you completed a task with supervision, say so.

  • Check your phone number and email address.
  • State your city, mobility and actual availability.
  • Describe language skills without exaggeration.
  • Use a readable file with a clear name such as Firstname-Surname-CV.pdf.
  • Open it on your phone to spot tiny text or cut-off pages.

3. Upload your CV and understand visibility

Open Upload my CV. You can import a CV or enter your profile information. Review the result after importing: even a well-formatted document may not be interpreted perfectly. Complete the requested experience, education, skills, languages and availability.

Sign in to your candidate account to find your activity later. Keep your email consistent across your account and applications. Review the sharing terms before confirming: submitting your profile lets registered recruiters browse it in the CV directory and contact you.

Uploading a CV does not apply to every vacancy. It creates a contact opportunity; you still choose which jobs to apply for. Visibility does not guarantee an interview or employment. Avoid including confidential information that is unnecessary for recruitment.

4. Write a short, personal message

An application message does not need to retell your whole career. Connect the vacancy to your experience. Mention the role, one relevant example and your availability. Replace the employer's name and check the vacancy reference carefully.

Hello, I would like to apply for the network technician position in Casablanca. During my internship, I helped install workstations and diagnose connectivity problems. Your on-site support duties match the work I would like to pursue. I am available from [actual date] and would welcome a conversation. Please find my CV attached.

This is a fictional example to adapt to your circumstances. A simple, accurate sentence is better than impressive wording that does not reflect you. If you use writing assistance, check every claim before sending.

5. Use the requested channel and complete submission

Follow the application method shown on the vacancy. With the Jawb form, enter your contact details, message and CV according to the available fields. Some vacancies include screening questions or an associated test: read the instructions and answer honestly.

Wait for the confirmation displayed after submission. If an error appears, address it before trying again. Saving a vacancy as a favourite is not an application. Uploading a file or opening the form does not complete submission either.

If the employer requests WhatsApp, email or an external website, follow that process. An application made outside Jawb may not appear in your dashboard. Keep your own record, without sending identical messages repeatedly across several channels.

6. Use your candidate account day to day

The following sections help you find your activity. Statuses depend on recorded information and recruiter actions; they do not promise a response.

Find your way around

Your dashboard brings together applications, interviews and saved jobs. Complete your profile first, then use the menu to open each section. The Tutorial button remains available in the header.

Where can I see my activity?

Track your applications

My applications shows applications recorded on Jawb and their status. Open a job to review its details. Recruiters update progress; applying does not guarantee a reply or an interview.

How can I check my application status?

Save jobs for later

Use the heart on a job listing while signed in to save it. Find it in My saved jobs and remove it when no longer needed. Saving a job does not submit an application.

Does saving a job mean I have applied?

Prepare for interviews

My interviews separates upcoming and past meetings. Check the date, time, format and location or meeting link. Respond using the available actions and contact the recruiter if you cannot attend.

Where can I find an interview invitation?

Talk to a recruiter

Open Messages and select a conversation to read and reply. Mention the relevant job for context. Never send passwords, sign-in codes or bank details in a conversation.

How can I reply to a recruiter?

Take a skills test

Open the test shared by a recruiter or browse the available quizzes. Read the instructions, answer the questions and submit when finished. Results support your application; they are not a job offer.

What are skills tests for?

Keep your profile up to date

In My profile, edit your contact details, profession, city, experience and availability, then save. Check for the confirmation message. Sign out after using a shared computer. Account type offers a one-time role change. Read the consequences before confirming this change.

7. Prepare for interviews and follow up constructively

When an interview is offered, check the date, time, format and address or meeting link. Reread the vacancy and prepare two examples from your real experience. For a remote conversation, test your connection and choose a quiet setting.

If the recruiter gave a response deadline, wait until it passes before following up. Otherwise, allow a reasonable interval and send one polite message naming the role and application date. A follow-up should help the process, not pressure the recipient. Continue other applications while you wait.

Candidate questions

Do I need substantial experience before uploading a CV?

No. Beginners can describe education, internships and projects. Be clear about your level and target suitable roles.

Why is my application missing from my account?

Check the email used, submission confirmation and chosen channel. External applications are not necessarily recorded on Jawb.

Should I send the same CV everywhere?

Keep a truthful core account of your experience, then emphasise what is relevant to each role. Adapting never means inventing.

Does saving a favourite tell the recruiter I have applied?

A favourite organises your search. To apply, complete the process on the vacancy page.

Start by opening your candidate account, updating your CV and choosing a vacancy you can answer specifically. See the Jawb.ma FAQ and the tutorial inside your account for more help.
